Simple terms.

License and updates

A purchase grants one person a non-transferable license to use Latch on up to two Macs they personally use. The license may not be shared, resold, sublicensed, or used as a shared team installation.

The purchase includes the current release and updates through Latch 1.x. It does not promise lifetime updates or future major versions.

14-day trial

The full app is available for 14 days so you can check compatibility and fit before buying. Reinstalling, changing the clock, or updating Latch does not restart the trial.

14-day refunds

Your first purchase may be refunded on request within 14 days. Email from the purchase address and include the order number—never send the full license key.

Outside that window, duplicate charges, non-delivery, and material technical incompatibility will be handled fairly and always in accordance with applicable consumer law. Refunds and chargebacks deactivate the associated license.

Devices and activation

One license may be active on two Macs. You can deactivate an old Mac and activate a replacement. A short offline grace period may apply after successful validation; a revoked, refunded, or invalid license does not become valid because a Mac is offline.

Requirements

Latch requires an Apple-silicon Mac running the supported macOS version shown on the download page and Accessibility access for its core behavior. Some apps expose incomplete window information through macOS and may not support every action.
