Salesforce Mobile

At Salesforce I spent years on the mobile platform layer inside a flagship enterprise app, improving the foundations while many teams still had to keep shipping on top of them. The work spanned architecture, design, instrumentation, CI/CD, and hybrid native-web systems, with a lot of the value coming from making the app easier to evolve without slowing everyone else down.

Several patents came out of that period, including work around defect detection, instrumentation visualization, and authentication. It also included a company-wide hackathon win and one of the demos being shown by Tim Cook. The part I still value most, though, is the platform leadership: modularizing the app, creating a new UX system, and pushing CI/CD and automation hard enough to improve reliability and developer efficiency at scale.
