Arc & Dia

At The Browser Company I build Dia, the AI browser for macOS, and I also work on Arc desktop across macOS and Windows. The work sits right at the boundary between product experience and browser architecture, where AI-native interaction design only works if the surrounding browser still feels fast, coherent, and trustworthy.

Concretely, that has meant implementing context-aware AI features in Swift, building highly polished browser interfaces, designing bridges between the Swift layer and the C++ Chromium engine, and developing instrumentation to find bottlenecks across key browser features. Arc also reflects some unusual platform depth: the Windows app is powered by The Browser Company's in-house Swift compiler.
